About Me

Hi there! I'm Xiangyu Wu, a solid game developer with infinite passion.
I have strict self-requirements, keen eyes, and rational mind. All of them are coming from my engineering background. Before I chose game industry, I was a first-class mechanical engineering student. (Be humble!)
I like questioning, like "Does the system so far work well enough? How can we add or change something to make it better in some terms?" Thus, with those questions, I like modifying, extending, and creating systems.
Programming and technical design fit me very well, because from the instant feedback, I can tell what's working and what's not. That's how I get to better design.
I believe design is an infinite polishing process, as there is no perfect but more suitable design in my mind.
People always say the word problem-solving. But I don't think it's the right way of describing. It should be functionality-creating instead of problem-solving, because problem-solving means the end of a design, while functionality-creating is infinite.
My long-term goal of life is to use game as the tool to show people the amazing world of all kinds of knowledge. People play my games can get that, game is not just fun, but also a gate to enlighten knowledge.
